This remarkable response highlights the strong international interest in our scientific workshop and reflects the growing importance of artificial intelligence in healthcare, particularly in medical imaginginterdisciplinary research, and clinical translation. We are grateful to all researchers, clinicians, engineers, imaging scientists, and AI experts who contributed their work and helped make this year’s call for abstracts such a success.

The submissions represent a broad and exciting spectrum of topics across AI in medicine, including image analysis, foundation models, generative AI, reconstruction, segmentation, multimodal learning, validation, explainability, and translational applications. The high number of contributions confirms BAIOSPHERE Medical as a vibrant platform for scientific exchange at the intersection of technology and clinical practice.

All submitted abstracts will now enter the review process and will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and expert reviewers based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and translational significance. We are very much looking forward to shaping an outstanding scientific program for BAIOSPHERE Medical 2026, which will take place in Erlangen on June 8th and 9th, 2026.
