Keynote: Lyu Su, West China Hospital

Real-world research platform of AI-assisted imaging for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric diseases

This presentation aims to elucidate the connotation of the discipline of psychopathology, point out the existing challenges of lacking objective quantitative diagnostic evidence in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses, and clarify the application value of AI+multimodal imaging technology in analyzing the pathological mechanisms of mental illnesses. Relying on clinical practice and large-sample longitudinal studies, our team identified brain imaging targets related to mental disorders, analyzed differences in brain structures and function, as well as the impact of drug intervention, completes the classification of disease imaging subtypes, and achieves individualized diagnosis and treatment and efficacy prediction based on standardized imaging reports. In addition, our team is leading the development of technical application guidelines, promoting the popularization of psychopathology in clinical practice and the establishment of application platforms, systematically sorting out the practical path of psychopathology from basic research to clinical translation, and providing important references for the discipline construction and standardized clinical development in this field in China.
